Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus Update

At Manor Farm Vets we are doing all we can to follow government advice to prevent the spread of COVID-19, while remaining available to provide the vital health care that your pets may need.

If you have a high temperature or new continuous cough, then stay at home and self-isolate. We request that no member of the household visits the practice at this time. If your pet requires urgent assistance, please call to discuss this with us.

Some of our routine appointments will be cancelled for the time being.

We will be offering chargeable phone consultations (video consultations hopefully available soon) to reduce the number of visits to the practice.

Where possible we will recommend postage of health care products and repeat prescriptions.

If a visit is essential, we will limit any access to the practice.

When you arrive for your appointment or to collect medications/pet food, please phone to advise (or wave) and wait outside or in your car. We will let you know when the vet or nurse is ready.

Most consultations will take place in the car park or over the phone. We may then take your pet for examination and treatment as required.

Please advise us if your pet has recently been stroked by anyone who is self-isolating.

If we advise that you need to enter the practice, please use the hand sanitisers available on arrival and in reception and remain 2 metres apart in regulation with government guidelines.

Please could we remind you that only one owner can enter the practice at any given time (apart from exceptional circumstances).

Please avoid paying by cash. We request that you pay by card or where possible, payments are made over the phone.

We thank you for your ongoing patience and cooperation during this difficult time. Stay safe and together we will do everything we can to keep your pets safe and well.
